Food Dance is known for their great tasting food, made from locally bought farm foods. Julie, the owner of Food Dance, has always been a strong believer that shopping locally makes for better tasting food. Now you can buy and shop for the same locally bought foods. As of the beginning of December, Food Dance has a recently updated and opened their new market.
When entering the market, you might become overwhelmed with excitement, not knowing where to start! The meat counter offers sustainable, humanely raised fresh and cured meats, from fresh ground beef to pork cuts. The market sells over a dozen artisan cheeses that come from all over the country: “Thomasville Tomme” is a raw cow’s milk cheese from Georgia, “O’cooch Mountain” a raw sheep’s milk cheese from Wisconsin, and “Lincoln Log” a soft ripened goat’s milk cheese that comes from Michigan.
After being amazed by all the different types of meat and cheese, you’ll notice the loaves of fresh bread. Food Dance bakes the bread in house: Sourdough, Whole Wheat, Brioche, 4 Grain, and Potato Rosemary. Rye and Cinnamon Brioche are available on the weekends. Not only does Food Dance bake their own bread, but also the most beautiful and delicious looking pastries are baked in house. The bakery counter is filled with sweets that will make your mouth water: cupcakes, babycakes, and cookies are just a few of the goods. The cakes come in flavors such as; Lemon Raspberry, Carrot, Carmel Torte, Blanc de Blanc, and a handful of other tasty flavors.
Further more, the new Food Dance Market has a wide variety of other goods: Olive oils, pastas, spices, syrups and other condiments are just a few of the items that can be found on the shelves.
